2nd Shift Inventory Manager
We have recently extended our Distribution Center hours to accommodate our company growth. This position is a 2nd shift position - NOT first shift. The Inventory Manager will head up the company inventory function which includes annual inventory, restock, set up and analysis of stock locations and cycle counts. Responsibilities include hands on leadership of inventory control, inventory restock and annual physical inventory; cycle count implementation; ensuring integrity of inventory both on EDI system and in stock positions; conducting velocity and capacity analyses, applying results to improve just in time inventory positions; conducting inventory audits to ensure that appropriate procedures are followed and inventory accuracy; fuctions as liaison between distribution center, retail operations and other departments regarding all inventory issues. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years supervisory experience in an automated logistics or distribution or retail environment with full inventory responsibility in addition to 5+ years overall distribution experience; strong PC skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and an EDI database system; HS diploma or GED required, some college/related degree and/or formal inventory/supply chain training strongly preferred. Developer
The Developer will develop for multiple.com initiatives, web-based applications and new products using technologies and languages that include Active Server Pages, Visual Basic, Access, SQL, JavaScript and HTML. Individual will experience all technical phases of the project life cycle and design/develop/deliver successful solutions that meet or exceed objectives of business partners. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years professional experience in .com and web-based applications development, proficiency in the following areas: ASP, VB, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, strong database knowledge and excellent oral and written communication skills. Seasonal 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate
2:30pm to 11pm Monday thru Friday plus Saturday 8am to finish as needed. Selects merchandise to fulfill consumer orders. Packs and ships orders. Verifies all information on orders to ensure correct merchandise is shipped. Assists in Receiving and Inventory departments as needed. Provides general warehouse cleanup as needed. Some HS required, HS diploma/GED strongly preferred; proven ability to count accurately; ability to read and understand English; proven reliability (attendance & punctuality); no lifting restrictions; forklift certification preferred but not required. Seasonal Full Time Customer Service Representatives
12 noon to 8pm, Monday thru Friday. Handles incoming telephone calls, mail orders and email inquiries from consumers. Inputs orders into order entry system. Investigates backorders and provides resolution to consumer and company management. Authorizes return to vendor in accordance with policies of the business partner. Provides other clerical support. H.S./G.E.D required; college courses preferred. Proficient on Windows 95+, MSWord and Outlook. Experience with Ecometry Order Entry System preferred, but not required. Good organizational and communication skills. Pleasant telephone manner and clear, grammatically correct verbal communication required. Strong written communication skills. 6+ months customer service experience in an office environment or call center strongly preferred. Some customer service work experience required. Seasonal Warehouse Associate
Please visit us at our job fair - Thursday October 9th - 9am to 2pm at Bridgeport Dept. of Labor, Lafayette Circle Bridgeport. All applicants who are able to stay will have a personal interview.
